Panelled-Pocket Short — Wool/Hemp/Silk Twill

Our panelled-pocket short is cut from a woven twill blend of wool, hemp, and silk from Lanificio Bottoli, an Italian woolen mill founded in 1861, that is part of its eco-friendly, undyed collection.The undyed fabric reads as a two-tone twill. The taupe wool yarns stand alone, whereas the hemp and silk yarns are twisted together to create a two-ply, off-white yarn.We dyed the shorts in our natural indigo vat, which creates brighter blues on the hemp yarns and a duller, grayish blue on wool and silk yarns due to indigo's greater affinity for cellulose fibers.
