Panelled-Pocket Short — Wool/Hemp/Silk Twill

Our panelled-pocket short is cut from a woven twill blend of wool, hemp, and silk from Lanificio Bottoli, an Italian woolen mill founded in 1861, that is part of its eco-friendly, undyed collection.The undyed fabric reads as a two-tone twill. The taupe wool yarns stand alone, whereas the hemp and silk yarns are twisted together to create a two-ply, off-white yarn. Once dyed with lac (an insect dye), each yarn differently takes the dye, creating a complex burgundy palette.Note that slight variations in color may occur among dye lots and are attendant to the natural dye process. - button fly- mid-rise with a 7” inseam- made in USA of Italian fabric (Lanificio Bottoli)- garment dyed by hand in NYC- pre-shrunk
