Slub Twill Shirt

We made this shirt with a Japanese cotton slub twill that’s woven on old-fashioned looms, giving the fabric a textured yet soft look and hand. The shirt is constructed with 3-ply collar and cuffs that provide structure without relying on fusible interfacings that can cause unsightly bubbling and wrinkling as the fusible interfacing's glue deteriorates over time. The charcoal color of this shirt comes from a combination of myrobalan and iron. Myrobalan dyes a buff, buttery yellow that turns charcoal once immersed in an iron solution. The corozo buttons initially dye a light shade of yellow that becomes near black once placed in the iron afterbath. - moderately slim silhouette with slight shaping at the waist - made in USA of Japanese fabric - garment dyed by hand in NYC- pre-shrunk
