A tribute piece created on October 24th, 2024, in memory of "El Toro", Fernando Valenzuela. "There are many greats who have worn Dodger blue, but for most Angelenos, at the top of the list is the beloved Fernando Valenzuela. Fernandomania in the 1980s was not only a baseball phenomenon, it was a movement that pulled together the vast Mexican community in Southern California.  His passing has rippled throughout this city and this World Series.  As we near Dias De Los Muertos, the remarques I have created were to honor his Mexican heritage."  - S.Preston Illustrated by S.
