Rivian Subwoofer Installation Kit We like to call this "The Tubthumper." As car guys who like nice sounding audio, even the Meridian systems in our launch edition R1Ts felt... lacking. As it turned out, the anemic OEM subwoofer comes installed in a plastic box, and sorely lacks wattage. After some finagling, we've come up with this MDF Felted box that makes a WORLD of difference to your truck's audio. IMPORTANT NOTE: Your truck MUST have a subwoofer for this kit to work. This means "Meridian" or "Rivian Premium Audio". If you have just the stock audio system, it lacks the needed outputs and wiring for this kit to be installed. With our kit, you end up turning DOWN the bass in the software-controlled EQ, which allows the speakers in your doors to focus just on the mids and highs, and lets the New & Improved subwoofer handle the rest.
