ABOUT This is an original industrial machinist's work table with a vulcanized Oak top and trim. This piece has retained its original color and has the appropriate patina. CREATOR Unknown. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1940 MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Vulcanized Oak, Steel. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. DIMENSIONS H 30.75 in. W 32.75 in. D 23.5 in. HISTORY The table was salvaged from a machinist shop in the back of a hardware store in the Mission District of San Francisco. The store was open from 1920-2018.
