The Sentani Rainbowfish is critically endangered in the wild due to many changes in their collection location, including pollution from surrounding population centers. Adult males get a beautiful red body with yellow accent lateral stripes. As with most rainbowfish, they are ravenous eaters and will attack anything that hits the surface of the water. Providing a heavily planted tank with a dark background will help bring out the natural colors of rainbowfish.
