All specimens will readily accept most prepared foods. Most can be trained to eat vegetables. All of our bristlenose get canned green beans (no salt added) as a staple food. Breeding - Moderate Origin - Tank Raised Notes - The Rio Itenez Bristlenose, sometimes referred to as Kiefner 2, is a smaller Ancistrus species that stays a bit smaller than most common bushynose variants. This species has brilliant dark lines that contrast with their golden brown body. Color and pattern vary amongst each specimen.
