Lettuce Seed Mix, Open Pollinated

This lettuce mix is PURE MAGIC!  This Lettuce Mix is the result of 30+ years of seed alchemy from one of the greatest living seed breeders, Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seeds. This mix is a true genetic gene pool of Open Pollinated seeds. It contains thousands of variations of the most beautiful lettuces, no two alike. The possibilities of this biodiversity are endless! Select your very own variety of lettuce, grow it, eat it, save the seeds and plant them again and again. Grow and steward your very own heirloom. Planting instructions: lettuce is a cool season crop so we suggest planting in late winter and every 3-4 weeks for a continuous harvest until summer arrives. You can plant again midsummer for a few fall harvests. Plant in full to part sun in moist, rich soil. Sprinkle lettuce seeds where desired, cover with a very light layer of soil or compost and gently tamp down. Lettuce seed germinate 7-14 days and we suggest trimming shoots to thin seedlings and enjoy the trimmings as micr
