Penguin Pins

The penguin with the coffee cup shape comes from a painting I did of a penguin wearing high heels.  I love the way penguins lift their heads in what looks like a superior way to us humans.  Well at least this human:) The flying penguin comes from visits to the penguin exhibit at the San Diego Zoo. The Details:Each one of these whimsical pins and earrings are handpainted by me, Robin Senour, so there are no two alike.For me, art is communication. I created this little work of art, but the conversation between artist and viewer is complete when someone owns it.The clear material I chose to paint on is durable and easy to bend to my will.I have my very own laser that gives me the freedom to create any shape that I can think of.I love color. Finding wonderful color combinations drives me from one piece to the next.
