Lent + Easter Artwork for Churches and Ministries by Sacred Ordinary Days
These rich, symbolic images representing the liturgical seasons and holy days of Lent and Easter are meant for use by churches and ministries. Beautifully designed and meticulously researched, these images are inspired by early Christian art and architecture such as mosaics, stained glass, icons, and other sacred works. We created this series of images to help your congregation, community, or group engage with the practice of visio divina throughout Lent and Eastertide, accepting the invitation to prayer through imagery. Visio divina is a prayerful practice of sacred, or divine, seeing. It's similar to lectio divina but involves engaging with an image rather than a text. In visio divina we invite our hearts and imaginations to enter into a sacred image, in silence, to see what God might have to say to us. Print and digital files for 10 different seasons/holy days: Lent, Ash Wednesday, Annunciation of the Lord, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter, Ascens
