Circle of Goddesses

Isis. Diana. Kali. Inanna. This image was created to honor the spirit of the popular Goddess chant "Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna." Here the energies of four powerful Goddesses are joined in a sacred circle: Hindu Kali, the cleansing and healing mother; Inanna, the Sumerian fertility goddess; Diana, wild Greek goddess of forest and field; and Isis, the great queen of Egyptian civilization. Gathered around a sacred water jug, itself a symbol of the sacred and the feminine, which may be used as a candleholder.
