Saint Thomas Aquinas Crewneck
In this design, we Illustrated Saint Thomas caught in a storm on a ship. This was inspired by one of his famous stories where during a storm others on the ship ran to him in fear because they knew of his immense faith. Saint Thomas remained calm, praying and trusting God completely, and the storm subsided. Above the storm is Christ on the Cross, representing the vision Saint Thomas received near the end of his life. Jesus appeared to him, told him He was pleased with his work, and asked, "What reward do you desire?" Saint Thomas replied, "I want nothing but You, Lord." What's amazing is that after this moment, Saint Thomas stopped writing completely, realizing that everything he had written was nothing compared to God Himself. This is why books are scattered around the ship into the ocean, symbolizing the vast amount of knowledge Saint Thomas possessed and poured into the world, yet shown beneath him falling into the ocean, because in that moment, Christ was greater than all of it
