Being in the operating room on her feet for hours can be exhausting, but as soon as her patient pushes one last time and out comes a healthy bouncing baby, she quickly forgets about it all. She’s in the moment, present as a new life enters this world. Nothing gives her more joy than handing that baby over to her patient and watching her face glow. She’s delivered over a thousand babies and that moment never gets old. However, even though her patients are just less than a day old, she’s not getting any younger, and this year she’s making free time more of a priority.
