The manufacturer was founded in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture in the Edo period, and has been active as a pottery maker for Banko ware in Yokkaichi Prefecture for more than 80 years with the motto of manufacturing pottery that customers can enjoy. All painting is done by hand. The brushes used by the painters themselves are handmade, and I love the ones that fit my hand best.
