The beautiful woodblock print "Mosodake, Aogaeru" (Moso Bamboo and a Frog) is by Shundei Nakamura (1905 - 1966). Very rare print. His artwork's subject is mostly flowers and birds. It is my first time seeing this subject without flowers and birds.  Published by Matsuyoshi. The Japanese title "Mosodake, Aogaeru", Matsuyoshi publisher's seal, Shinmi printer's seal,  and Nagashima carver's seal on the left margin. English title on the bottom margin. Artist's signature "Shundei" with a red seal on the lower right corner of the image. Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print. Water dews on the top of the leaves are very tasteful. Absolutely beautiful rainy image.
