Secretariat Earrings

14k Solid Gold Secretariat Earrings, a first in the Secretariat Collection. These solid yellow gold earrings were created from Salina Ramsay's solid yellow gold pin featured in the Secretariat movie. The pin featured in the movie was exclusively designed by Salina Ramsay and was created after an 18 pin of Secretariat Ramsay hand carved for Penny Chenery. The original design made for Ms. Chenery was created using the lost wax technique whereby a tiny sculpture was painstakingly hand carved by the artist. Ms. Chenery oversaw and approved the original creation as a scale model of her horse, Secretariat, the 1973 Triple Crown Champion who captivated the world.  Salina Ramsay designs are custom made to order.
