These wonderful live oysters are sweet and buttery with a cucumber-y finish. Grown by the Swinomish Tribe in Similk Bay in northern Puget Sound, Washington, where the Pacific ocean water meets fresh river and estuary water to create a medium salinity bay perfect for growing shellfish. These are the small beach-grown Pacific oyster. About 2.5-3.5 inch shells - perfect size for slurping! Click here for a XS or medium version of this oyster. Or try the same oyster grown in a different bay by Skagit Shellfish, and taste the "merroir" taste of place difference.   The Pacific oyster is originally native to northern Japan but has been grown on North America’s West Coast and around the world for almost a century. It grows well in almost anywhere, but takes on entirely different flavors depend on where and how it is grown!  Harvested fresh to order and kept on ice all the way to your door. Safe and delicious oysters, wherever you are in the USA! Exceptions apply to Texas and parts of Alaska. Do
