Small Mother-of-Pearl Jumping Horse Button Necklace

Small antique buttons such as this once graced the sleeves of a hacking jacket or waistcoat. Measuring approximately 3/4" in diameter, each one-of-a-kind button is prong set in sterling silver and transformed into a pendant then suspended from a lovely 18" necklace of offset knotted cord punctuated with Swarovski pearls. The quality of this rare button is unparalled. A horn button has been inlaid with a hand-carved horse made of mother-of-pearl. The opalescent quality of the mother of pearl cause it to reflect varying colors as it light bounces off of it. This button is one-of-a-kind!
