Winter Morning Light Art Print © Sally Evans This abstract painting began with the idea of the colors of winter and a kind of peacefulness that a winter morning brings. In the cold of winter, when my eyes first open in the morning, often I see this beautiful pale pink light and the reflections of the snow. There is something fascinating to me about how the light completely changes things at different times of day. I see how Monet spent years trying to capture it. I used to think that the winter was lacking in any color but have found that there is such a beautiful palette of neutral colors.
