Sumatra - Harimau Tiger

The Harimau Tiger Project is an initiative of our partners at Cafe Imports to combine small lots from producers in the Aceh growing region of Sumatra. The goal is to select coffees that exhibit not only the robust earthiness that is traditional in coffees from the region, but also a more nuanced sweetness and a cleaner cup profile. The result is a balanced, complex coffee that stands alone nicely. This blending of lots enables local farmers, whose farms normally yield small amounts of coffee, to access the specialty market.
