Chicken Thighs

A favorite cut of chefs, the thigh is full of flavor.  These juicy thighs come four to a pack, with skin on. Each pack has 4 thighs and is approximately 1.25 lbs. When we talk about our heritage-raised chicken, we're talking about the traditional way of raising chickens.  Each of these birds is raised to 14 weeks on a diet of local grain and forage in the pasture.  Conventional chicken is bred to be raised really big, really fast and are butchered at 6-7 weeks of age. This is chicken the way it is meant to taste and be.  No jumbo sized-franked chickens here.  These birds live a healthy life eating bugs, grasses, and grains to develop great flavor and fat.
