Single Fin Sunset on Canvas

For as long as I can remember, my dad has always been a runner. When we moved over to the beach in 2020 I think one of the things he was most excited about was going to be able to run on the beach in the evenings. I would always take advantage and see if he wouldn't mind if I would tagalong. It was a way for me to get out of the house and also get to the place that I love. It was a bit of an extra step for him because he had to drive the minivan, and I had to be loaded into it. At this point I was in a manual wheelchair and most everything on the van was manual as well. It wasn't quite as easy as just hopping in the car and running over to the beach however, he was always such a sport, and would always accommodate.  On one evening, a storm front had just rolled through and the tide was low. Conditions were perfect for him to go for a run and for me to be able to wheel around and take some photos. We got down to the beach, he got his shoes on and I got helped out of the van. I was able
