Teapot in sky

This teapot is perfect for your every day tea! I threw it on the potters' wheel in porcelain. I then hand drew the design in black underglaze. I painted wax over the drawings to resist the glaze and keep that area raw clay. I love the tactile feel of the raw clay next to the smooth glaze. I fired it to cone 6. There is a built in strainer to keep your teabag from clogging the spout.   This teapot is approximately 6.5"H x 8"W x 4.5"D, and holds approximately 4 cups (32 oz). It is dishwasher safe.  Cheers!
