Drums, Instruments & Textures From the Lo-Fi Sampler Series The SP-202, 303 and 404 are fun, easy to use, "DJ" boxes from Boss, produced in the early 2000s. For a lot of us, these were our first samplers, so they're quite nostalgic. And while each unit differs in sound and features, they all offer a distinctly Lo-Fi color, achieved through various FX, sample rates and conversion that to this day still remains impossible to achieve in a DAW. We called on our good friend and SP guru Owen Ross to help us out for this one, and together we created a diverse pack of dirty drum hits, multi-sampled acoustic instruments, grainy textures, pitched vox, aliased pads and gritty soundscapes.
