Pinot Noirs of the World - A Blind Tasting Class
Workshop Description “The Devil made Pinot Noir” – André Tchelistcheff We skip Blanc, Gris and all other Pinot as we fade to the dark side of Noir. The Pinot Noir grape is grown all over the world, though it is difficult and finicky. Learn its origins, other homes and characteristics. Discover how Pinot Noir wine varies based on climate, soils and traditions in various international regions through a guided flight of examples from across the globe. Despite the differences you will find common threads. This class is eye opening for Pinot Noir wine lovers and a must for wine professionals and those studying for certification exams. It includes a tasting of 6 wines with your registration fee. This workshop may be taken as part of our Wine Grapes of the World Series or individually a la carté. Your workshop fees can be applied to the cost of the full series if you would like to continue on. Group discounts are available. Contact help@sfwineschool.com for more information. Formats
