Aquaillumination Nero 3 Powerhead (2000 GPH)

The Aquaillumination Nero 3 Powerhead is a great and affordable way to add lots of flow to your tank with a maximum flow rate of 2000 GPH.  The Nero 5 is ideal for tanks 5 - 60 gallons.    The Nero 3 creates an adjustable broad flow that is strong but gentle at the same time.  Traditional propeller designs can produce a hard stream that can irritate corals, while the innovative propeller on the Nero 3 pushes water in a wide patterns that can move foods, detritus or other free-floating particles around without blasting corals directly.  Powerhaeds have many different uses in a reef tank, but the main goal is to produce enough flow to keep low-flow spots from forming so that detritus is pushed into the filter system.
