They lived in two of the Seven Hills of Rome, and together with the Latins - who lived in the other hills of Rome - formed part of the population of Rome at the time of its foundation. The Sabine Hills produce some of the best extra virgin olive oil in Italy. In fact, chronologically speaking, it's the first Italian Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) oil to gain the certification from the European Community
