The large green glass flask with a body tapering to a pointed bottom, wide shoulders, and long neck with flat disc rim, two handles applied at the shoulder and neck, with faint curved ribs winding around the body. Reference: Hayes J. W., Roman and Pre-Roman Glass in the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, 1975, cat. # 411; Susan H. Auth, Ancient Glass at the Newark Museum from the Eugene Schaefer collection (1976). Dimensions: Height: 9 inches (22.5 cm) Condition: The flask is intact and in excellent condition overall with no chips, cracks or breaks. Provenance: Hollis, Queens, NY private collection, then by descent.
