Chocolate Caramels by Jean Michel Carré with Santa Barbara Hives Honey

Chocolate caramels, with Santa Barbara Hives honey, by renowned French chocolatier Jean Michel Carré of Chocolats du Calibressan made in the tiny town of Carpinteria, CA-home to our first bee shop. Beekeeper Barnaby grew up in Paris above LeNotre--one of the most famous chocolatiers in the world and photographs top chefs globally as a professional photographer. Jean Michel stopped in to our new bee store and we quickly realized that neither of us had ever had a honey chocolate or a chocolate honey. Ever. Et voila! A customer came into our new State St. store before Xmas perplexed that we were out of chocolate caramels. "It's one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth" she said. We will do our best not to run out! They are truly world class.
