It's a porcelain box, made by forming thin slabs decorated with blue striped patterns using the Nerikomi technique into a cylindrical shape. This design draws inspiration from Magemono, a traditional Japanese wood craft, adapting the concept of the Bento box that is traditionally used for lunch box into porcelain. While it can't be carried around like traditional Magemono wooden bento box, it's microwave and dishwasher safe, making it suitable for indoor use.It was created with the idea of turning leftover dinners stored in Tupperware into more visually appealing lunches. It's a versatile lidded vessel that can be used not only as tableware but also as a container for small items.   *Due to the handmade nature of the product, there is some distortion in the shape. **The lid is made to just sit on top and is not airtight.  ***Because of its thin construction, it becomes very hot when placed in a microwave oven with food in it. Please use kitchen mittens when it gets hot.   ITEM DETAIL c
