IGP - First Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil - "Olio di Roma"

IGP Certified, Single Estate, First Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil  -  Marchesi.  I.G.P. stands for Indicazione Geografica Protetta (literally Protected Geographical Indication) and it indicates a mark of origin that is assigned by the European Union to agricultural and food products for which a certain quality, reputation or other feature depends on its geographical origin, whose production, modification and/or processing takes place in a certain geographical area. This Product "Olio di Roma" enhance the peculiar taste and the "grasssy" fragrance of the Sabina area.  The Marchesi Estate is located in the DOP area of Sabina Italy,  between  Lazio and Umbria.  There they harvest, press and infuse their outstanding Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a large variety of spices, and citrus.
