2021 "Lolonis" Sauvignon Blanc

Hailing from a very special Mendocino site (the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in the U.S.), this gorgeous white is everything fans would expect from such a rare single vineyard. It’s a fine Sauvignon that’s rippling with intense aromatic/flavor complexity with plenty of texture and nuance that can only come from lovingly tended old vines. You're in for classic brine/wet stone characters, edged by a racy citrus note. The palate opens with invigorating, green, spring-like notes. With time in the glass, the texture deepens, and the concentration of the vineyard becomes more evident. This one is built to last. But word to the wise: because old vines produce precious few grapes, our Lolonis is always a very small production wine.
