Perception

This piece consists of four separate canvases arranged in a grid within a dark frame, with the interior painted in a striking copper color adding depth. The dominant color palette is various shades of purple, with contrasting elements in black and copper. The top left and bottom left canvases are largely monochromatic, showing textured purple hues that suggest a hazy ambiance, while the top right and bottom right canvases feature abstract geometric forms in black, highlighted with copper lines.The arrangement of the canvases and the reflected image in the copper frame give the composition a sense of symmetry and modernist feel.  Artwork Details: Original acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas.  Four canvases mounted in hand-painted wooden box.  16” (w) x 16” (h) and 1.5” depth.  Vibrant abstract, colors flow from canvas to canvas accented by intricate geometric forms.
