The bird is modeled after a greater spotted eagle I photographed in Kenya. A greater spotted eagle's wingspan ranges from 61–71 inches (155–180 cm) and a phalaenopsis orchid blossom is only a few inches wide. Playing with scale is on of my favorite things in Surrealism. Please keep fine art and prints out of direct sunlight and UV light.
