The meditative position shown in this representation of Buddha is perfect for someone looking to bring more peace and calm to his or her life. The facade under which he sits reminds the wearer of the beautiful archways of Buddhist architecture, evoking the shape of Buddha himself, and recalling Buddhist Stupas, Toranas, and other sacred spaces.  The double arrow on the back of this pendant refers to Buddhism’s Parable of the Second Arrow, in which Buddha teaches his pupil that we must choose to rise above emotional suffering to achieve enlightenment.  Pictured here with Chakras and the Archway Buddha.
