First you want to make sure that the surface is clean. Windex usually does the trick, but make sure you let it dry completely.2. Before you are going to place it on the desired location, take a hard item like a credit card and rub it over the surface of the decal to make sure it is firmly sticking to the transfer paper.3. With the paper backing still in place, line the decal up on the desired location. Use a piece of masking tape or painters tape to hold it in place on the top center of the decal.4. Fold the complete decal set up with the tape still in place to gently fold back one edge of the paper backing about 1/2".
