Domaine de la Denante Bourgogne Chardonnay 2023, Burgundy France

Bourgogne Blanc, it reverberates with intense, vibrant and concentrated apple, peach, a bit of pink grapefruit, a dash of lime zest mingling with noted of vanilla, supported by piquant acidity. It is made by winemaker Damien Martin, whose father created the domaine in 1975.  Zippy, clean and pure, as it should be. Starts out brisk, and as it soaks into your palate you get a hint of tropical fruit along with crunchy white fruits, tart/sweet citrus, kumquats and preserved lemon. Nicely balanced.  Pairs well with roast chicken, seafood, and pasta.
