The Roving: Astor Blue
Revealing The Roving, our sartorial over shirt. With four pockets, including two inset chest patch pockets in our signature trapezoid shape, this shirt jacket pays homage to vintage workwear—the utility shirt, the chore jacket—but with a European, understated feel. The oversized, inverted V-shaped yoke is decidedly not western. The Roving is hand-cut and sewn in three-season .6MM calf suede at a woman-owned factory in Tuscany, Italy. Made from our full-grain, proprietary skin, the body is left unlined for easy movement. The sleeves are lined so it can be easily worn over a shirt or sweater. The inside of The Roving is as much a work of art as the outside—it isn’t reversible, but the leather grain is breathtaking and even better, meant for your eyes only. Its low-profile welt pockets are subtly positioned above the curved hem to give it an elegant profile that sits right at the seat. The Roving boasts a clean, eleven stitch-per-inch finish and flawless cutting and sewing. What’s new? A
