You are purchasing the bean stitch applique version of the JOY wreath design. The J and Y are bean stitch applique while the wreath is a bean stitch and the bow is satin stitch.Knowledge of how machine appliques work is a must. You will need to use fabric to complete this design as shown. I recommend always using Heat N Bond Lite on the back of all applique fabrics used. It creates a nice, crisp finish on the fabrics to help prevent fraying. When trimming your applique fabrics on a bean stitch applique, be sure to trim a good 1/4" away from the edge of the bean stitch.
