Video Tapes to Digital

VHS dominated about 60% of the North American market from the 80s through the early 2000s. Around the same time folks were flocking to their local Blockbusters to rent the latest movie releases on VHS, home moviemaking enjoyed a revival. The problem was VHS camcorders were far too unwieldy and the market was ripe for a more portable device.
