This mineral soil is ideal for any Succulent or Cactus Mix requiring a fine particle size...Add 20 to 50 % of it it to 3/8- 1/4 inch pumice or granite, plus perlite or any organic component to make the perfect mix for your plants. Mineral soil will hold more moisture than larger size lava, but is a good substitute for peat in a potting mix. Contains no organic matter or peat moss.
