Made from the beams of Fort Nelson, Louisville, Kentucky.  The fort, built in 1781 was the second on shore fort on the Ohio River and became the center of what is now Louisville Kentucky. The fort was built to protect against attacks from the Indians and the British Soldiers during the Revolutionary War Era. Fort Nelson was named after Thomas Nelson Jr. who was the Governor of Virginia, which at the time Kentucky was part of Virginia.  This pen takes a standard rollerball refill. Comes in a gift box. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
