EARLY 20TH CENTURY GYMNASTICS POMMEL HORSE, BUCK HORSE, NARRAGANSETT MACHINE CO POMMEL HORSE, ANTIQUE GYM EQUIPMENT Outstanding early pommel horse. Made by Narragansett Machine CO. This is the smaller version, called a 'buck' horse. All original, fully functional. Adjusts up and down with hand crank. One lever raises and lowers small wheels so it can be easily moved. Cast iron base measures 38” long | 38” wide Height adjustable from 38” tall to 58.5” ta ll Saddle measures (overall) 22” long | 14” wide | 11” tall CONDITION Wonderful condition overall considering age and use. Cast iron base is in very nice shape only issues are cosmetic. Scuffs, scratches, dings, paint loss, surface rust, etc. All adjustments function as they should. Leather saddle lifts off, does not "lock-on", original as designed. Leather is very nice considering age and use. Leather has been conditioned and is supple and strong. Only minor scuffs, cracks, and wear (see pics). See pics for condition details. Question
