Inspired by the woven ice fishing pack all Maine kids have bestowed upon them in their first few years of life, The Summit Pack is tightly sewn to be a rugged piece that is able to withstand a beating. Two birch wood slats, coated with a marine grade polyurethane, adorn the bottom to give a sturdy base, and to keep the straps in place. The bottom of the pack fits perfectly in the small of your back and at four pounds, you will hardly know it's there.  The Summit Pack stands 14 inches tall, the opening of the basket measures about 9 inches by 12 inches, and will sit approximately 8 inches off your back.  This handcrafted pack is sewn using a tight stitch which gives the basket a firm wall.
