Colombia Decaf Fundraiser

Our Colombia Decaf is balanced and flavorful with the classic aroma that Colombian coffees are known for. High-grown and hand-sorted, these fine Arabica beans offer a smooth, medium-bodied cup with notes of dark chocolate that linger into a sweetly balanced finish. To ensure that our 100% Excelso beans are decaffeinated in an environmentally appropriate manner, we choose a chemical-free, mountain-water process that provides a caffeine-free, richly satisfying cup.  "Excelso" is a grading term for exportable coffee from Colombia, unrelated to variety or cupping profile. Excelso coffee beans are large, but slightly smaller than Supremo beans. Excelso coffee beans are a screen size of 15-16, whereas Supremo beans are sized on screen 17. Despite a difference in bean size, the Excelso beans offer the same coffee quality and flavor as their Supremo-sized cousins.
