Traditional Rainbow Patinas

Traditional Rainbow and Torch Patinas are very interesting finishes. Depending on the application method and the metal used, many different finishes can be created using these patinas. Traditional Rainbow and Torch Patinas are available in 8oz., 32oz., 1gal., and 5gal. sizes. Spray tops are included with 8oz. and 32oz. bottles. One gallon of Traditional Rainbow or Torch Patina generally covers 200 sq. ft. For best results, apply Rainbow Patina to a shiny and clean metal surface. This patina does not work with the Metal Coatings. Rainbow Patina on Brass: Clean metal with Metal Cleaner (do not sandblast). Apply two coats of Rainbow Patina to hot metal (200-220°F). Additional coats will bring more silver colors. Wash while hot for brightest colors. When dry, protect the finish with 2 coats of Clear Guard.
