     We have all heard of the SKX007. That watch, that reference has become something of legend. "The timepiece that gets a nod from watch snobs." Its been features on countless "best bang for your buck" lists with regards to watches. The hype is justified. In house movement? Check. Diver? Check. Affordable? Check. Automatic? Check. Robust construction? CHECK. Vertically integrated company? Check. It a lot of watch for the money but one thing was always lacking for me and that was the case proportions. The watch felt awkward on my vintage inspired wrists. It was case proportions clunky IMO. Enter the SKX025. You still get all of the benefits of its 007 cousin in a much more wearable footprint. At 38mm, the watch still retains a great wrist presence while allowing it to be more versatile. Some would argue that reducing the case diameter while retaining the same relative thickness to the 007 throws the case proportions off; however, I didn't find that to be the case on the wrist.
