Universal Geneve Uni-Compax 12445 - Serviced w/ 6mo warranty.

ABOUT THIS WATCH:  MANUFACTURER: Universal Geneve MODEL: Uni-Compax REFERENCE: 12445 SERIAL: 1114623 YEAR: 1945 DIAL: The original silver Universal Geneve dial is in good shape. There is some slight dial decay along portions of the outer baby blue tachymeter scale. The dial features snailed sub registers the right of which has some marks. The hands may have been replaced in the past as most examples of a 18kt reference 12445 appear to have come with gold hands.  CASE: The 35.5mm solid 18kt yellow gold case is in good shape. The case appears to have been polished sometime in the past; however, not overly so in my opinion. The midcase still retains some of the original satin finish and the lugs still illustrate strong lines. The case presents with light wear throughout commensurate with its age. The crown has been replaced in the past.  MOVEMENT: Universal Geneve manually wound caliber 285. Movement number 186172. The watch has just returned from service and comes with a 6 month warranty
