Vacheron & Constantin 4219

     Ever since I ever got into watches, Vacheron & Constantin has always had a special place in my heart. Initiated through the brands storied history and sustained through finishing prowess - I seem to have a thing for finely made, small, precious metal, manually wound wristwatches from the mid twentieth century.      This example is of particular interest. For one it remains in very well preserved condition considering its almost 80 years of age. It's creation was destined for the American market and was imported into the United States in 1947. It's case was manufactured by Wenger who was considered to be one of most prestigious case manufactures in the world. Wenger went on to build the cases for some of the most famous wrist watches to ever be created including the OG JLC Reverso. Best of all?
